In 1965 he moved to Chicago, IL, and traveled extensively within the United States. In New York, NY about 1977, he created his first lithographs at the American Atelier. The artist immediately found a liking to the medium, being especially attracted to the wide color range available. Segundo's reputation grew rapidly throughout his career, and his paintings have been shown in prestigious galleries, including the Pavilion Gallery, Portland, OR, The Old Olive Tree, Scottsdale, AZ, and the Walton Street Gallery, Chicago, Illinois.
